Do you ever have a pint of mix? Maybe a half of bitter with a half of mild. Or perhaps a Black and Tan (a half of stout/porter mixed with a blonde or pale ale style beer). 🤔🍻

Here are the 2025 top 10 cask ales on this popular & informative app. @RealAleFinder . One or two surprises. Titanic Brewery Plum Porter No.1? A decent ale. However, not quite as good as it used to be, in my humble opinion. Although I will say the Grand Reserve is a stunner.😋

FRED Dibnah pulled a pint of a new beer by Bolton’s Bank Top Brewery at the Carters Arms, Belmont Road in 1995. The new tipple was called Fred’s Cap. It was thought to be the first beer to be brewed in Bolton since the Magee Marshall brewery closed 25 years ago. The Magee

With respect, I prefer an independent brewery stout on cask. I find keg stout thin on flavour and overpriced. 🍻
