Freshman setter Kassie O’Brien had a much larger role in this game. She only played in the final two sets and still led the Wildcats with 27 assists, she also added two blocks and three kills. In her third career game, she played a crucial role in a statement win for Kentucky.

Final 3-0 UK.UK:25 PSU:23. Kentucky swept the defending national champions on banner night. Hard to imagine a better way to bounce back from the tough loss on Sunday. Brooklyn DeLeye led UK with 18 kills, Eva Hudson followed with 10. Asia Thigpen had 9 kills, hitting .467.

Timeout PSU.UK:24 PSU:22. DeLeye came out of the timeout with an ace then Eva Hudson recorded two kills to force match point. Penn State called a timeout in a last ditch effort to stay alive.

Final 3-2 Nebraska. Nebraska showed why they are the No. 1 team in the country, pulling off the reverse sweep. Kentucky was able to get away with mistakes early because the Cornhuskers were matching them. When Nebraska tightened up, Kentucky really struggled to keep up.
