The 90/90 hamstring test — An easy way to assess hamstring length. When you get competitive athletes learning they’re "deficient" in something, it can be very humbling. Knee slightly bent to fully straight would be considered full range of motion. How far can you get?

@BrendanThompsn What is your recommended intervention if they can't get to full extension?

@TugboatTaylor15 Use the test as an intervention. I’ve also got a lot of other flexibility stretching routines in my Hamstring Handbook. Check it out:

@BrendanThompsn Yo dude, This test - is it using 90º hip flexion + slightly bent to fully straight as the bench mark and saying that anything less than that is a “fail”? If so: 🚩 Anatomy / ROM is unique, but unfortunately many tests don’t reflect that.

@Ollieemberson Hi Ollie, No test or protocol is perfect for 100% of the population, I think you know that. However, I did some reading and saw that you have a 100% success rate with some of your protocols. Well done!

@BrendanThompsn If you use the measure app on iphone and place the phone on the tibia normal range of motion on this test should be 70 degrees

@BrendanThompsn Literally one of my KPI's when a new athlete is onboarding and going through their evaluation. I get the exact degree variance L vs R. #getrightorgetleft
