I like sand in the early offseason to strengthen the ankle complex
While understanding that the force output in these sessions will not equate to increased speed,I find value in the potential increased ankle stiffness, leading to potentially greater speed later in the macrocycle

I convinced there’s no way to train speed in sand. You know where I am from. The state of Hawaii is well behind the rest, speed included.
