Some more context on how unusual Buffalo's winter to date has been - overwhelmingly driven by lake effect snow - snowfall so far is at a record maximum to date, and is already above the entire average seasonal snow total.
For added context, Buffalo’s season to date snow anomaly of 70” is more snow than most of the Northeast outside of higher elevations receives during an *entire* winter season.
