Sis, I’ll like to set some records straight, I like to say the things nobody likes to talk about, you posted a screenshot that insinuates @Harri_obi firing people for doing stuffs for other Ecosystems,
A random thought on a Tuesday morning. I saw the conversation between @Harri_obi and @waverchocs about Superteam and Web3 Nigeria in @ntbts_news. And I kept thinking to myself; Remove the incentive from Superteam NG - no rewards, grants, or funding, what keeps the community?

Sorce (@sorcejobs) is building Tinder for Jobs. When you swipe right, AI navigates to the company’s website and applies on your behalf. It writes cover letters, too. Congrats @marvy_101, @davidaladee & @therealdajayi on the launch!

If you believe what you are building is big and you know what it takes to get there, you will even be happy you made it into the competition sef.

Boss, check @chainfundme_ — I had to change our logo because the previous designer left without signing IP rights over to us. Some may see it as drastic, but competition demands bold moves to play in the big leagues. Boss please check your dm from chainfundme.
Still on capitalism and competition; here’s one of my favourite clips from one of my favourite business TV shows. The main character Bobby f*cking Axelrod’s son crashed both the school and the town’s electricity grid, just from mining Bitcoin in class.

All ecosystems are needed, but what we truly need is competition, not unity. Every blockchain aims to be the best, and if we want to catch up with 1st and 2nd world countries, that drive is essential. Don’t demonize @Harri_obi for being vocal about his interests.

@SuperteamNG gives bootstrapping startups the survival structure they need—mentorship, grants, bounties, spotlights, and seed funding. It’s not chasing unicorns, but helping African founders emerge.

@SuperteamNG, through pitch clinics, roast sessions, and product guilds, supports startups from cradle to PMF. @NzubeEzudo sharpens founders, while bounties spotlight projects. In Africa, only @LiskHQ offers a comparable guidance of such

Merit: Filters out wannabes, fostering founders building real solutions for Africa. Demerit: @base’s Silicon Valley model funds only proven products, leaving out solutions to real African problems that lack early believers.

@base @SuperteamNG and @Web3Nigeria Africa (and Nigeria) has three key ecosystems that must retain their individuality to truly serve the region’s vast, emerging market. @base primarily supports builders at the market-entry stage, not at the cradle phase of a startup.

Too often, Nigerians confuse Nollywood-inspired wishful thinking with strategy. But Africa’s ecosystem is vast — and real progress depends on each ecosystem embracing its individuality.

I lead a team, and I won’t tolerate someone in a strategic role over-familiarizing with other startups or ecosystems, or diminishing the value we uphold by spreading that same energy elsewhere. A leader’s jealousy shouldn’t be demonized it protects the work environment.
