A sun filled day as P3 explored Princes Street Gardens, watched the 1 o’clock gun and played at the park! ☀️ Another item ticked off our bucket list ✅ We loved the train ride too! 🚂 I’m sure you will all sleep well after all that walking! 👟

♻️ Our final eco group meeting was all about reflecting on the year and thinking about the positive impact we have had on our environment! We celebrated by receiving some seeds to grow vegetables over the summer! 🥒🥕🍅 Very proud of you all! 🫶 #thinkgreenthinkbrunstane

A 2 minute tour in literacy giving feedback to our peers on their poster. We thought of both a glow and a grow! Roman engineering task for our IDL too - lots of creativity and problem solving being used! 🧱

P3B took their Roman shields out for some drama 🎭 We did some freeze frames and even made a Testudo - a Roman army formation to protect from arrows! 🛡️

We have started another IDL - The Romans and P3B are fascinated with their shields! We learnt all about the features and designs as well as army formations! We prepped our designs for our shields and then we are going to make these out of cardboard boxes! 📦

Last week was world bee day so P3B learnt about how bees communicate through a waggle dance! 🐝 We hid some flowers and one person in each group had to communicate through the waggle dance for the rest of the group to find the nectar! 🌸🐝 So much fun! 🤩

A brilliant afternoon yesterday at the Brunstane careers fair! We learnt lots about the skills needed for some of the jobs and got the chance to meet a doctor, an architect, a marketer and a construction worker to name a few! 🩺👷🧱✍️

P3B have been learning about addition with exchange! We were using the manipulatives to really understand this new concept. ➕🧮 We took our Book Talk outside in the warm weather and loved this! 📚
