6 years ago today, my friend Kevin had a heart attack during a run. A neighbor gave CPR, paramedics revived him, and he recovered in the hospital. Today we celebrate alive-aversary. His favorite bourbon is ER17 so we will finish my bottle. Life is short, drink the good stuff.

The newest release of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof (C923) is a nice rounded 133 proof and the minimum age of the blended barrels is 13 years, 7 months! I’m gonna need to stock up on this one, it’s fantastic.

ER 17 is oldest of any previous years at 19+ years 😯
Stagg is 15+ year at 135 proof
WLW is 12+ years at 133.6 proof

Happy Friday! I just opened the new ECBP A124. It’s going to be hard to top C923, one of the best release in years, but man this one is tasty as well. It’s hard to beat this 10+ year barrel proof release at $74.99 SRP.
