On 2 Sept, BOT SOC launched the Darling Biodiversity Conservation Park — the 1st of 15 gardens in our NLC-funded, SANBI-partnered project. Enhanced with storyboards & plant labels for plant knowledge. With Vula as a key partner in making this garden possible & training youth.🌱

Rising up to 30 m tall, the Brown-ironwood (𝘏𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘮) towers above ravines and ridges across the eastern parts of SA. With its smooth trunk, strong scent and fluffy green flowers, it’s hard to miss when wandering through the forest. #TreeTuesday
