Turned out to be a super walk this morning, because the sun came out. It was really hard work though, trudging up through the snow, mum was slithering about all over the place and she’s zorsted now 😂

Same walk as yesterday but this time without the unwanted addition of a snow shower on the higher path! We’re all feeling the effect of uphill trudging through the snow though 😁 snooze time for Peggy and me 🥰

We’ve had a long walk up the hill - at least it did feel like a long walk because we were having to bounce through the snow! Then when we got to the most exposed part, a squall blew in 😲❄️. We’ve had some food and I think we will be snoozing now, this afternoon

We’ve been out for a good walk in the snow pals! Mum says it can clear off now, she’s had enough of it for this winter ❄️❄️❄️ I think she’s going to be disappointed though because it’s not going anywhere yet 😂

Took the Old Ladies for a lovely NY Eve Run, because they have been a bit remiss of late, with a whole range of excuses and ailments to stop them getting out together. They have agreed they will be better next year and try to get out more often in 2026 👍💕

Turned into a beautiful bright crisp morning for our walk. Mum had her spikes but they stayed in her pocket, not required 👍. The good weather had brought a few people out, so we had to share the viewpoint!

On the route we walked today, we would usually be lucky if we saw the first primroses out by the end of February. Normally would be early March. So what on earth bonkers thing is going on, when we find this by the path today?

Late start here waiting for M&D to get moving after their excellent but indulgent meal last night! Did the same circuit above the loch as yesterday and I was happy to find that my deer pals were still out in force😁. The castle was looking splendid today as well👍

Well CC, @ccshoreditch it’s a fabulous fillet of beef tonight. Mum very rarely eats red meat but she’ll make an exception for the good stuff. So the wine cellar has been raided for something a bit special…..

It’s never been above freezing here all day, but still a cracking winter afternoon. The sky is getting very pink now and it’s really chilly out there! Mum is getting her layers on to take us for a quick walk before we settle in for the evening ❄️❄️❄️

We went for our regular Sunday morning walk above the loch. Frosty underfoot so not squelchy on the muddy bits, for a nice change. I saw plenty of deer too, and gave them a good loud telling off, as you do. All in all, a very satisfactory outing 👍

Been for a walk with M&D, in and out of damp mist all the way! Not too bad though, as it was never very wet, just damp drizzle. And the mist made it very atmospheric looking out towards the loch in the distance 😁

Had a super walk with mum this morning to blow away the cobwebs. Went up to the viewpoint, although not much to see today. We did get noms though 👍

Just catching up with everyone, after a very busy day yesterday. We haven’t even opened our presents yet😲 but mum says we can do that this afternoon. We had a super Christmas day, and got lots of attention.

Well there’s long faces on the #BTAdvent calendar this Christmas Eve morning 🤣 mind you I think I’d look a bit miffed too, if they put a mahoosive set of antlers on my head, Bertie 😬
