Wow just wow. All our hard work this year has paid off, as judges award Oxford Gardens the top mark. Oxford Gardens is officially 'outstanding', and our volunteers are too 🙌🏻

Another 2 alleyways cleared and to be transformed into valuable community space. A collaboration between this group, one vision housing and Sefton Council. Benches and planters made by local charity Bootle Tool Shed 🙌🏻

A few hours after we dug out the street sign flower bed, we received a message. A lovely resident has donated and planted it up. Love a dose of community spirit 💚 🙌🏻

Today we finally finished edging the main path in Oxford Gardens. It's been a slog and taken months but worth it. Some of the overgrown grass was 2 foot deep in parts. We also re-instated the flower bed under the street sign.

We continued with path edging in Oxford Gardens today. It's backbreaking work as the grass and weed roots cling to the gritty path. But we have now edged 95% of the gardens 🙌🏻 4 volunteers, 4 hours for Bootle 💚

A quick hours gardening tonight. Making the most of the lighter nights. How beautiful is the circular flower bed. We created this in 2018 and it has had several makeovers but this is the best it has been. Plenty bees in there too 👌 @greensefton

The Peonies are out in Oxford Gardens. Lots of different colours throughout the seasons. It's been hard work keeping the plants watered but worth the effort. If they make one person smile when passing that'll do us 🙂

First 2 images are Oxford Gardens in 2024. We volunteers took on the gardens in 2017. Last 2 images are from 2008. So proud of our achievements 👏🏻
