The Oilers have been crazy dominant in the third. Too bad they didn’t show up for the first part of the game.

Skinner, despite playing well, hasn’t played two games in a row in Pittsburgh. They are managing him well and are seemingly aware that when he takes the full load and isn’t challenged for a spot, he struggles.

Having lived through a similar, nationwide version of this in Trump's model, Putin's Russia, it’s not easy to fight against. And Trump and many of his gang have passed the point at which they feel they can afford to lose power, even in Congress. It’s a perilous moment.

I don’t mind pulling Ingram. They needed to do more of that when Skinner was here. Goalies improve with accountability and competition. I think Skinner did better when he was pulled or not played for an expected game due to poor play.

They could have protected Jarry somewhat by just starting Ingram for the 3rd. Tough game against his old team.

Oilers had a 4 on 1 and didn’t get a shot.

The Oilers defense tonight is putting on a show. Quite honestly amazing.

Skinners record on the Penguins is better than any stretch with the Oiler over the past few years. They have, however, only played him every second game. He always played better here when he was competing for the position and/or playing less.

We should trade Draisaitl- he’s clearly a drag on our offence. I kid, I kid. But I don’t mind him being away for a bit which forces the coach to play other players who then are forced to deliver.
