a lesson i learned this year is that a person's capacity for growth is directly linked to how much truth they can face about themselves without running away

Fake people dislike you when you're authentic. Toxic people dislike you when you stick to your boundaries. Takers dislike you when you say no. Manipulators dislike you when you see through their tactics. A person who is okay with being disliked is a very powerful person.

We're early. The tools are clunky. The UI is bad. But the vision is powerful and the builders aren’t slowing down.

Example: — In Web2: You post on Instagram. IG owns it. — In Web3: You mint a post on Lens or Farcaster. You own it forever, and can even earn from it 💸

Instead of trusting companies, you trust code Smart contracts replace middlemen. Blockchains replace centralized databases. You’re not just a user you're a stakeholder.

You don’t actually own anything. Not your posts. Not your followers. Not even your data. Companies like Meta, Google, or Apple control it all.
