And just like that, 2020-2021 is over! 🥳🤯😭 we celebrated our love for each other with a cupcake fight, and now my favorite furry friend is helping me with my separation anxiety by being almost as cute as my icing-stained loves.

Tomorrow we will use the draw and write template from @lessonpix to cut out, mix up, put in order, and paste into our journals our individual ideas, like our feet writing from last week!

Today we’re practicing putting the words in order using dry erase sentence strips.

We drafted our chart and recorded our occupation choices, and some kiddos even added in choices I hadn’t thought of 🥳

We started off by discussing and exploring lots of different jobs, and practiced answering yes/no about whether or not they would want that job.

One of my goals this year has been to improve my practice of predictable chart writing, and I am SO proud of how much communication and literacy it has provided my students!! Check the comments for our whole process using lots of @lessonpix supports!
