I wrote a piece for the Our Sunday Visitor Magazine @OSV travel section inviting everyone to come see “Pope Leo’s Chicago” — the shrines, parishes, and South Side neighborhoods that formed the heart of our first American pope. Just beware of taking the CTA Blue Line.

On the latest episode of the Spe Salvi Institute podcast, @BobbyMixa interviews D.C. Schindler on the crisis of authority. This is Schindler's third visit with us, and we are proud to include his insights in our growing library of conversations. Enjoy!

Why isn’t it a custom to visit the cemetery on All Saints and All Souls in America? Was it ever a custom? Here in Poland the cemeteries are packed.

One thing @BobbyMixa and I discuss here is the key insight from Pierre Manent about how antisemitism is not just one of the many unacceptable prejudices within Liberal secularism, but the front line of the war on the (Christian) West.

Drawing new maps of hope. Today is the 60th anniversary of the conciliar Declaration "Gravissimum Educationis", on the extreme importance and relevance of education to human life. With that text, the Second Vatican Council reminded the Church that education is not an accessory,
