I think that’s the obvious answer considering their styles. If Weidman was able to beat Silva with straight foward and clean boxing fundamentals, then Strickland likely would have picked Silva apart even worse. Strickland is fundamentally sound with his basics with boxing

Not a fan of this idea. Izzy shouldn’t be rewarded another title shot after coming off a loss to Strickland. Izzy didn’t even have a winstreak before that loss. Should be Izzy vs Khamzat at 300 instead

Nah, his scariest 30 seconds is when Francis started to hurt him in the second fight just before Stipe got KO’d. Stipe panicked big time when he started to swing back wildly at Francis. Plus Stipe probably crapped himself when Francis stuffed the takedown flawlessly too

See the difference is though between Usyk and Ngannou is that Ngannou can esacpe those clinches and punch Tyson on the break AND Tyson couldn’t oppose his physicality as on Francis like he usually does with boxers. Usyk won’t be successful in that.
