DS25 and I are having a Chinese takeaway. DS17, fussy eater, doesn’t want any. He had a McDonald’s yesterday. Do I leave him to sort himself out or offer to buy him another McDonalds? I’m not cooking.

Watching a series called Strike on BBC iPlayer. Enjoyed the first couple of episodes, lead characters worked well together and were likeable but, in these last few episodes, Troubled Blood, the female lead is getting on my nerves and the male lead character has become weak.

Went to a well known steak house in Cardiff, not M&C, on the weekend for DS25’s birthday and we were less than impressed. Atmosphere, food, drinks and service were poor.
