I was a little hesitant to try this Chinese gooseneck antenna but I got lucky with this copy. The use case is extremely helpful and worth the DB loss compared to the signal stick. I can bend it up while having the HT laying flat for packet work and I can bend it up on my IC705

Was running a heavy ass AGM as a second battery in my truck for the longest time.... finally switched to a 100Ah LiFePo to power things charged by 175watt panel. Plan is to add a second controller and 175watt panel to round things out
