Cath Collier committee member of the club told us 'With more equipment we can support more children and young people, reaching out to local families who can't afford to purchase equipment for their children. This includes lower income families and families with multiple children.

BlueSpark was excited to be able to support the Wave Slaves project in Newquay. New boards were purchased that allowed greater numbers of young people to participate in the club.

The Sterts Youth Theatre Project enabled young people aged 14 to 20 to participate in skills based workshops and a rehearsal process lead by experienced theatre practitioners. The participants were able to put into practice the skills they had learned through public performances.

St Augustine of Canterbury High School took the opportunity with BlueSpark's help to take their GCSE students to the birthplace of Shakespeare to be inspired. They took part in workshops and watched a performance of A Christmas Carol.

Cerebal Palsy Sport engaged with BlueSpark in order to run a countrywide initiative to get young people involved in RaceRunning. The project has provided the opportunity for children and young people with cerebral palsy to try an inclusive and adapted sport for the first time.

The students from Ormiston Forge Academy would not normally have the opportunity to take part in an activity such as horse riding. BlueSpark were please to be able to be able to support the opportunity to 50 such students over a 6 week period.

Deepcar St John's CofE Primary shone during the Shakespeare Schools Festival putting on an abridged version of Twelfth Night. The students excelled in the production and made an excellent impression when interviewed for local radio too. Visit BBC Radio Sheffield to hear more.

Students from Sele School put their BlueSpark funded rucksacks to good use when visiting the Isle of Arran and the Peak District in completing their DofE expeditions. It looks like they had a great time!

Asquith Primary school enjoyed great success in their first 'collaborative' choir event with other local schools. The students enjoyed the sense of community, singing together in a musical extravaganza. BlueSpark were pleased to be able to help this event go ahead.

Numicon sets help the young people develop their conversation, reasoning and problem solving skills. Having numerous of these sets means that the children can take them home to help them continue their development.

Brainwave approached BlueSpark for help in purchasing 15 Numicon sets to be used in their therapy for disabled children. Brainwave helps UK children living with disabilities and additional learning needs to achieve greater independence.

. she and the team came away with the silver medal! BlueSpark provided much needed equipment to help Alyssa train for her goal. The rest was down to her own determination. Well done Alyssa!

Alyssa applied to BlueSpark to help her achieve her goal of reaching the World Underwater Hockey Championships in Canada this year. We were delighted when she achieved what she set out to do. Not only was Alyssa chosen to attend the championships.

. working alongside the theatre company and performed at the John Peel Centre in Stowmarket. Participants were involved in all elements of the production process, including print design, prop making and stage management gaining confidence, organisation and leadership skills.

It's always a real treat to hear about the success of the projects we support. Spinning Wheel Theatre have done a fantastic job of engaging with young people within their community. 'The Hothouse' by Harold Pinter was performed by 15-21 year olds . .

The Alfriston School and Bucks Inclusion Sports Day looked to be a great success. BlueSpark were really pleased to offer our support on this day, providing medals and awards to make it that much more memorable for all involved.

St Gregory's Catholic High School enjoying the opportunities to perform at the Conway Centre in Menai, Anglesey. Funding was provided so that the whole group of drama students could attend these workshops and benefit from working with leading practitioners.

Birmingham Sherborne Sea Cadets enjoying their first paddle with their sit on top kayaks. The Sherbourne Sea Cadets wanted to improve both water safety and confidence in their cadets through the use of these watercraft.

It was a pleasure to help the Riverbank Studios, Chippenham to run the Battle of the Bands for 2018. Funding was provided so that this event could go ahead. The participants looked to have an incredible experience participating in this exciting event.
