Blue Peter editor Biddy Baxter has passed away, aged 92. Without her Blue Peter never would've become the phenomena it was, she brought the show to life in a way no one else could've. Forever grateful for her contributions to British television, she will be greatly missed. 💙
Biddy Baxter, who was the editor for Blue Peter from 1962- 1988. She introduced many key concepts such as appeals, pets, badges and competitions. Additionally she campaigned for the archival of episodes, leading to post 1962 Blue Peter being mostly complete in the archives.
