Our PSHE Ambassadors have been hard at work putting up posters in readiness for Human Rights Day on December 10. It is fantastic to see our students taking the lead in raising awareness and championing positive values across our school community.

Germany Final Night - Our last night has been spent at the Aachen Christmas Market. A beautiful place and the last chance to practice our language skills. 🧑🏻🎄🎅🏻🎄

Germany Day 3 - We have arrived into the historical town of Boppard for a tour trail, through the narrow streets and shops.

Germany 🇩🇪 Day 2 - We have just arrived at Cologne to visit the stunning Cathedral. Students are able to have moments of reflection, observing acts of worship, silent prayer and the beautiful imagery in the stained glass windows.

Germany Day 2 - Our first stop of the day is to the Lindt Factory in Aachen. We sampled so many different chocolate flavours 🍫to those sold in the UK 🇬🇧and brought many Christmas presents and gifts. We are now heading to tour Cologne Cathedral✝️and Christmas market. 🎅🏻🎅🏾

As part of UK Parliament Week, students took part in a whole-school vote during tutor time on whether the voting age should be lowered to 16. A brilliant chance to engage with democracy in action and ensure student voices are heard! #UKParliamentWeek

Well done to our Year 9 RE students, who took part in this term’s Smart School Council vote on responses to the question: “How can we try to change our tendency to put people in boxes?” Fantastic ideas were shared about inclusion, empathy, and challenging stereotypes.
