Happy Easter to all the residents of Crumlin. Our volunteers of all ages are always busy in the area. Weekly litter picking is in full swing, as is planting in our new community poly tunnel 🌱

Collection day is just 1 week away! .Some important information to note: There will be over 2500 plants & shrubs available for collection. If possible, please walk or cycle to the collection point. NO PARKING is available (the plants & shrubs are small & light enough to carry).

And not forgetting the Orchard team who are busy organising free fruit plants, hardy herbs, native bushes and hedges for the community 🥰.Register by March 15th for free shrubs/ hedges/ fruit and herb plants for your garden at.

Over the weekend, volunteers cleared out rubbish & removed the old damaged plastic from our new community poly tunnel. It's now ready for the planting season to support the planters in the area, the community garden and more 🍓🌷

The project is being supported by a unique partnership between Government and Philanthropy with funding being provided to communities across the country from donors to Community Foundation Ireland as well as the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

We welcomed Minister of State for Nature, Heritage and Electoral Reform, Malcolm Noonan TD, to the Pearse Park Community Garden to formally announce this round of grants, which have been awarded to 78 community groups around the country.

Bloomin' Crumlin are delighted to announce that we were awarded funding from @CommunityFound to implement some of the recommendations of our Community Biodiversity Action Plan.
