I have a strong opinion that the prevalent Rumira angst is because people don’t know how to problematize Zoey’s personality. Being a people pleaser doesn’t mean you’re immune to conflict. It means you’ll do anything to avoid it—and that is a problem in itself.

Bobby is the ultimate girl dad. He’s seen the way Rumi had to mature too fast to deal with her profession, so he’s very supportive of her finding enjoyment outside of the sport. He just wants his girls to have fun <3

I’ve been seeing a lot of comments about putting Zoey, Mira, and Rumi in therapy, so let me tell yall one thing: I will send these girls to WAR before I give them a mental health specialist. They can figure their shits out in the trenches just like the rest of us.

You have no idea how much this means to me. It’s genuinely amazing how I’m able to go crazy about car metaphors and people like u match my insanity <3 Even if it’s not a well-known fic, just the fact that it’s someone’s favorite fuels me to keep going ❤️❤️❤️

It’s been so fun to write Mira as a multifaceted character. Another song someone else suggested for her is “Pink like Suki”, and both fit her well in equal weights, just depends on the angle you’re looking through.

That’s such a beautiful song and I think it fits her perfectly, especially the Mira we get to know in Arc II. “Change her Hair, Change her name, Smile for the camera” hit so hard, ngl 🥲
