Today was a great example of why jockeys are hesitant to chase Pride Of Jenni. It’s very difficult to sit within range of her as it’s not only a mental challenge to run past her but on the occasion that she stops, you’re a sitting duck for the horses behind you

I should also mention how great it was to see @nacimdilmi train his first city winner for @DomelandRacing I met Nacim while we were both working for Gai Waterhouse & he has always been a great friend who worked hard for Gai then James Cummings. He will be a trainer to follow

I always had a special feeling watching the cup growing up & it has only been stronger since riding in it in 2016. It’s still there this year but a little disappointing knowing it won’t be possible again.. Although it was only a small chance previously, it was still possible
