A special visit today as Fergus from the lighthouse team welcomed TV legend Timmy Mallett to Blacksod Lighthouse. Timmy’s mother Nancy worked on D-Day weather forecasts & spoke to Maureen Sweeney on June 4, 1944, confirming Blacksod’s vital role in the Normandy landings
