We had not spoken since then but since that call I often have thought about how he said that to me and how he meant it and how good it made me feel. If you were Fred's friend he genuinely cared about you, and you knew it. 8/.

The last time I talked to fred was a few months ago when he wanted to chat about one of the business he was building. We set up the call and the first thing he said when I picked up the phone and said hello was --" god its good to hear your voice man" 7/.

Over the next couple of years Fred became both a mentor and a great friend which meant the world to me at that time in my life. He was the one person who had "made it" that gave me the time of day. He did with everyone and that was always something I admired about him. 6/.

The site ended up shutting down due to some legal copy write issues, but our friendship didnt. We were both living near midtown and would regularly out for steaks at Front Porch, Karaoke on west grey, and of course drinks at coaches pub. 5/.

Since we weren't making money Fred had no way to pay me. But he would do things like write a radio commercial for my business -- and when I got to hear Fred advertise my business during the blitz -- I felt I had finally made it.

We started a website together called . It was built on a shitty wordpress template and we were building the plane as we were flying it. We were trying and failing to monetize the site, but resilience was one of Freds strengths. We never wavered. 4/.

In 2015 I quit my job to start my own consultancy and had absolutely no idea what I was doing. This is where my relationship with @FredFaour started and as many have noted, his openness and willingness to do whatever he could to help a blitzer was undeniable. 3/.

thing I had to look forward to M-F from 4:00-7:00 -- The Blitz. It was a fun escape for 3 hours every day. The "stuff" was as entertaining as the sports were, if not more. It was the perfect radio show. 2/.

Deeply saddened to learn that we lost @FredFaour yesterday. Fred, alongside @AJIsTheReal and @onepunch____ played a huge role in my life as a young adult in Houston trying to figure out life. Work/school was a daily grind, money was tight, but there was always one . 1/.
