Extremely heartbroken to learn about the passing away of Sankarshan Thakur. Couldn’t process it enough to share my condolences yesterday. Grew up watching him and reading his stellar work as a seasoned journalist. Will miss his sharp critiques. Rest in eternal peace, Sir.

Trump raised tariffs yesterday and today an old man at Delhi Airport handed me this talking about adopting swadeshi goods. This is the speed with which the sangh parivar functions. Maybe that is why they’re successful in setting narratives in their favour

Pehle bhi maine kaha thaa uttarakhand is a winning state for congress. It’s most underrated state in congress ecosystem. Just need to retire Harish Rawat and need good incharge who can manage groupism then we will have the government in Uttarakhand.

Congress is on a complete free fall in Maharashtra and this after a historic mandate in 2024 elections. This is what happens when you appoint a leadership that simply isn’t able to ignite any confidence. This despite having so many top tier leaders in the state
Exclusive:- Ex-MLA of congress from Jalana assembly constituency,kailas gorantyal is likely to join BJP soon. He lost to Shinde sena MLA arjun khotkar. Interestingly, gorantyal who invented a slogan of '50 khoke- ekdun ok'. It's very surprising joining!

What @INCAssam haven’t understood yet is that you cannot win such a complex state without a strong organisation. Especially when there are so many tribes across the region and the party barely has tall leaders amongst most of them. Anti-incumbency is limited right now. Hope

With less than a year left for Assam elections, @GauravGogoiAsm and team @INCAssam have to work really hard especially in Upper Assam. Especially when so many of their leaders are on HBS speed dial. It also lacks strong leaders from various tribes which is it’s weakest link.

I think majority north indians in Mumbai vote BJP+, when it comes to Gujjus it’s more than 90% I would say. However thats not the case with Marathi speaking voters. They at max will be 50:50 or slightly tilted in favour of Shiv Sena. So there’s still scope for growth
If the MNS and Shiv Sena think they'll gain substantial votes in the upcoming BMC elections by emphasizing the Marathi language issue, they're mistaken. The Shiv Sena (UBT)'s 2024 Lok Sabha success was largely due to support from Marathi, Muslim, and some North Indian voters.

Many may not agree but in case he becomes the next CM, Siddaramaiah can be a great choice for the next Congress President. Since Kharge ji is old and cannot hold the post for long. Many will say someone from North is better but with RG as LoP it doesn’t matter much
He met Kharge ji several times. He visited Ahmedabad plane crash site also with him. Is he becoming cm as 2.5 years of Siddaramaiah is coming to end.

I don’t understand the fuss. In a war, its natural to lose artillery, jets etc. Why hide it and create unnecessary controversy? At the end what matters is the result and if India emerged at an advantage, such things shouldn’t matter tbh.
