Thank you to @McCormick_Place for showing that making windows safe for birds is both doable and important. We hope other building will follow your leadership with these life-saving retrofits.
McCormick Place Lakeside Center has wrapped up its latest effort to keep its glass facade safe for birds. The upgrades come in time for the migratory birds now passing through Chicago on their long journey south.

Sunday night birds were gifted helpful winds. Millions took to the wing, eager to begin their long journey home. Unfortunately, Chicago stood in their way. We rescued 80+ injured and salvaged 160+ dead birds Monday morning. It doesn't have to be this way. @ChicagosMayor
