These videos should be shown in the public schools so kids donβt litter. Have to make the kids more aware of the needs of the wildlife in the park.

I used that πΆ for a video I shot & edited in college in the early '90s, using stills + video of pollution and animals suffering from our trash. Will we learn?π
How sweet is the sight of this mallard having a good meal? This poor bird was spotted a week ago in Prospect Park with a plastic band stuck around her mouth and head. She was alert and active but unable to feed herself.

Update the duck was released after tender loving rehab on 4-9-24.
Btw the band around the ducks head was marked NYC Parks dept.
