Recently, we have acquired a new "toy" for the laboratories: Akta Start: Is a preparative chromatography system for protein separation and purification that allows to collect the protein in a fractionation system. By using different columns, proteins can be separated by. 🧵

Have you ever heard about a Catalan tradicion called "Caga Tió"? Caga Tió is a X-Mas character in Catalan culture. Tió is a big piece of trunk with legs and a broad smiling face with a traditional barretina (Catalan hat) that "poos" presents for children (or PhD students) 🎄🎁
