i thought about this while listening to death chamber cuz sonic says "you're damn right knuckles".

Sonic characters should curse more. no "fuck" or anything that bad, stuff like, "damn" or "hell", actually they should say more not-nice words in general. I dont think it should be as often as in shadow the hedgehog, but every once and a while would be cool :3.#SonicTheHedgehog

none of this is a deal breaker at btw, DKB still looks fantastic and well made, i notice little shit like this and sometimes it bothers me, and im not upset about any of this, just pointing out some things that need some possible improvement! anyway, end of my yap sesh :3 (5/5)

And i should say its only in GAMEPLAY, in cinematics he looks great, same for mario and link. DKs expressions, while fantastic, also sorta just, snap into existance when needed? no buildup from his face muscles nearly at all! (yes ik this gif is showing off expressions) (4/?)

link in the two most recent zelda games do the same thing, but hes less cartoony, so its way less noticable, and with mario in mario odyssey, his animations are great! lots of bounce with a good amount of squash and stretch, but DK specifically feels rigid in a weird way (3/?).

best example is with DK bananza, while his animations are overall fine and quite expressive, it lacks any sort of "punch" like theres barely any weight for this big ol' ape. most of his actions just kinda. happen? without any buildup or notice (2/?).

Has anyone notice a certain trend with modern nintendo games when it comes to animation of characters? While the base animation is great it seems like theres little to NO squash and stretch, and because of that it makes the animations (and the gameplay) feel "jittery" (1/?)

y'know i was a little worried about this movie given how most live action remakes go, but the more i see about it the more it seems like they actually cared. now i havent seen it yet so that very well could change, but from the clips ive seen it looks good!.

I refuse to believe these taglines are real, this has gotta be some sort of stupid marketing stunt right?? Feels like they're TRYING to be out of touch??.
