Some animals have fun names. Like the dik-dik. Which, it turns out, is named for the noise it makes when making an alarm call. Who knew?!

Once I had a character in a D&D campaign that was a secretary bird. Because who wouldn't want to be a stomping bird with long legs?

Trying to buy a house is not fun. wish I could just live in a shell like a hermit crab instead. All I'd need to do is follow the scent of dead and dying snails and I'd have a new home!

You know that whistling sound when mourning doves take flight? It's not from their mouth - it comes from their wings!!! Mind. Blown.
