Friends!!! I’ve made my first open source library in #Scala 3. It’s a lightweight, idiomatic, type-safe wrapper around java off-heap cache with automatic codec derivation. Check it out!!!

Claude Shannon. Incredibly underrated person, Father of #information as it is. I think his work "A Mathematical Theory of Communication” has become a turning point of human history. Without him we might never seen our #digital world.

One of exciting things that changed my life was the lambda calculus. This abstraction is so simple and concise. But the same time you can express any type of computation with just a few symbols. λx.x

The hippocampus must consolidate and filter information into long-term memory but sometimes it seems like importantMemories.filter(_ => false)

I don't understand when people ask me why functional programming is better than others. But it's crystal clear that it's more functional!

We don't need a worklife balance, we need a lifework balance. Life first, work second. Maybe we need a LIFORK where life is work and vice versa.

Have you thought about the parents of great people? How did they influence their children? What did they tell them? Do people make themselves or are they always part of thier parents?

A language like #Scala lets us write functional programming on an imperative machine. The IO monad lets us write imperative programming on a functional machine.

I've read the "God & Golem, Inc." by Norbert Wiener. It was written in 1964, but the topics in this book are absolutely relevant today. Ethics, learning machines, prostheses and so on. I strongly recommend this book!!!

There was not one article about AI, neuroscience and even about creating computer, but despite this, in 1863 Samuel Butler has seen an unstoppable evolution of machines and further replacing human by machines in an intelligence domens #samuelbutler #ArtificialIntelligence
