Great breakdown @piyushgarg_dev I've made the exact same database mistake while locking db in one of my projects. Never realized how massive the financial hit could be for a simple '-lt'. Why @github haven't realized it earlier. https://t.co/Lr0uBSdY1z

Just started using @inngest for my project. It is a great tool to use. No overhead of using cron jobs, queues and background jobs. Most interestingly the AI features are awesome. Building something using itπ₯

tried upgrading @prisma from 6.13.0 to 7 today. What I thought would take 10 minutes turned into a 3-hour migration marathon. The upgrade definitely introduced more changes than expected

This modern world of Applied AI is just crazy. You can build anything, challenge any existing big company or define new steps to improve your tasks. Itβs the best time to be a builder. Since you will build faster, you will obviously talk about system design, cloud

Just optimized the Catalog page in Zivelle Earlier : All items and thumbnail images were loading at once making slow UI, bad UX Now: Added pagination using @prisma skip + take fetching data page-wise and used SWR for caching + revalidation of the visited pages

noticed some critical frontend issues in Zivelle especially with loading the entire catalog at once. It's wasting bandwidth and slowing things down. So Iβm working on adding pagination to fix it. Will share what I learn along the way!

ποΈ Just added real concurrency control to my eCommerce project (Zivelle). No more β2 users buying the last item at the same timeβ - Used Prisma interactive transactions - Stock reservation + rollback on failure - Handles βout of stockβ gracefully - Restores stock if user cancels

building order reservation system for my e-commerce application Zivelle. Trying to handle the concurrency and overselling issue by reserving the required quantity for a short time period. Will get back soon with the final workflow.

Tech market is wild now 2 years ago, SDE2 roles needed serious skills - DSA, LLD, HLD, Devops, AI, now those are intern-level. This market is just weeding out folks who entered due to the big salaries. More efforts needed to sustain here.π₯
