This is so fucked up. (pardon my language) The AQ's shouldn't be playing in these games...AT ALL!!! Make the at-large teams who, if they really do expand the NCAAT, play in the play-in games. This is some absolute bull shit.
Per reports, the NCAA is leaning towards a model that places the 12 lowest AQs into the "Opening Round" along with the last 12 at large selections, as part of the 76-team proposal. That would mean tough league champs play early. Last year's Opening Round teams would've been:
