True and this is partially due to the fact that government doesn't actually write the vast majority of bills, the politicians don't even read them. Lobbyists and NGOs ran by the banking families write most of the bills and tell their puppet politicians how to vote
The government has never asked us, the citizens, what we want from government. They shove laws down our throats to assert more control over us or write bills giving billions to their rich friends. It's never about what would be best for the citizens.
