Omitted Variable Bias. You implicitly attributes reserve changes solely to presidents, omitting exogenous factors like global oil prices, production levels, fiscal policies, and external shocks (e.g., 2008 financial crisis, COVID-19). A classic case of model misspecification.

Claiming to be a stats expert but comparing external reserves with raw % change is misleading . (Shame on You!). Growth must be measured with CAGR (average yearly growth), not just start vs end points. Otherwise, you’re just doing POLITICAL MATHS, not statistics.

Attribution Error (Ecological Fallacy). The inference that “President X grew reserves” assumes direct causality. This is an ecological fallacy: attributing macro-level outcomes (reserves) solely to one actor while ignoring systemic/global dynamics. @StatiSense Do better.
