I'm really happy that my dicobalt work with @BroereDaniel has made it into @Orgmet_ACS! Thanks also to our collaborators Arun Asundi and Ritimukta Sarangi at SLAC! . Want to see what the PNNP expanded pincer ligand can do with cobalt? Check it out:
pubs.acs.org
We report the synthesis and characterization of a series of high- and low-spin dicobalt complexes of the tBuPNNP expanded pincer ligand. Reacting this dinucleating ligand in its neutral form with two...

Really exited that my first (co-)corresponding author paper is now out in @ACSCatalysis! Based on the reviews we added a DFT-study that provided even more insight into the mechanism of Cu-catalyzed formic acid dehydrogenation. A valuable addition to the original draft.
Great to see this study led by @BienenmannR make it to print! Great example where peer-review strengthened the message! Previously on @ChemRxiv, now in @ACSCatalysis Mechanistic Investigation into Copper(I) Hydride Catalyzed Formic Acid Dehydrogenation

I'm really happy that the first of my dicobalt coordination chemistry now out on @ChemRxiv! Also check out the connected work about the X-ray spectroscopy of these complexes to study the electronic structure of these molecules.
Check out these 2 connected preprints @ChemRxiv. First synthesis and reactivity and an X-ray spectroscopic study into the metal-metal bonding of dicobalt complexes Great collab with @BienenmannR, Arun Asundi and Ritimukta Sarangi!
