If you suspect that someone is in slavery – don’t confront them or cause a scene! This could lead to increased harm for them, instead, you should inform the relevant authorities.

◾ They might be dropped off and collected for work always in the same way, especially at unusual times, like very early, or very late!

◾ They could be reluctant to talk to strangers or officials (such as the police, health care workers, etc.) ◾ They might appear frightened, withdrawn, or show signs of physical, or psychological, abuse.

◾ They have few personal belongings, wear the same clothes every day, or wear unsuitable clothes for work. ◾ They might not be able to move around freely, and they may not have access to personal identifications.
