We are so excited to be working together again on the fantastic endeavor. Please share and support if you can.
The @BiblioDames are back for a collaboration that is dear to our hearts. #ProjectBookDrop is an effort to buy books for some FWISD school libraries. We are working with the wonderful @thedockbookshop to make these libraries holiday wishes come true https://t.co/DbjwrevXAG

Fun teacher tip. Digital letter boards, great for quotes of the day or just fun to add to intro slides. https://t.co/F6bD8bQ7fd

First presentation without J but she’ll be cheering me on from summer school. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hard at work putting the finishing touches on my presentation for #ntxlibcamp20 on Wed at 10am. What do lemons, Hamilton, and successful managing social media have in common. I ❤️ them all. If you aren’t registered go to https://t.co/jfIwZ9A2ir for info @ntxlibcamp

There is justice. There is injustice. There is no neutrality. No sideline. No bleachers. No exits. We are all in the human rights struggle to save humanity from human tyranny. Black people, especially, are struggling for the right to live, for the right to breathe.

Our #bookadayinmay book review is A Good Girls Guide to Murder by @hojay92 I got this book from @librofm and the audiobook is fantastic. I ❤️ the concept for the book and I kept trying to solve it right along with Pippa, the main character. A great read, perfect for summer break.

2/2 and starts living a life on the edge. But, as Nanette really starts to learn the joys of being a rebel, she also starts to realize the pain that can come along with it, as well. This book is like a warm hug and someone saying "I totally understand you."

1/2 Our #bookadayinmay review is Every Exquisite Thing by Matthew Quick. This book is all about how a book can change someone's life (meta, anyone?) Basically, Nanette has lived her entire life just living by the rules and then she discovers a book called The Bubblegum Reaper

2/2 It kept me guessing the entire time and the characters' interactions with each other are raw and real. Once you're done with this one, go read literally every other book that Mindy McGinnis has ever written. You will not regret it.

1/2 #bookadayinmay review This Darkness Mine by @MindyMcGinnis I get excited every time I talk about this book to anyone because it is SO GOOD. The story follows a young woman who has everything figured out until, suddenly, she doesn't. And then it is a wild roller coaster ride.

2/2 and the art work is beautiful. The story is a cautionary tale about what can happen when fear takes over for compassion and we start treating our neighbors as enemies. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #readthisbook #librarianlove

1/2 Our #bookadayinmay book review is @GeorgeTakei They Called Us Enemy. Mr. Takei tells his personal experience being a young boy forced into the Japanese internment camps after the start of WWII. The story should be required reading in middle school history

I love being an @BiblioDames but I'm also excited for a chance to figure out what comes next. I may be on self imposed sabbatical but once a librarian always a librarian.
