@Dyoung41290832 @johnsweeneyroar @snp Concessions were not enough. They could have offered more - for instance the ability to restrict immigration from EU for a limited period. We'd have never have implemented it, but the idea of being in control would have appeased many.

They say they are concerned about Rangers fans being with the United fans, yet it was obvious who were Rangers fans sat around us and the stewards did nothing.

Wrong. @KarimKhanQC is the ICC prosecutor. He is NOT a judge. On 24 May 2024 he sought arrest warrants against 3 Hamas leaders, 2 of whom are confirmed as having since been killed. He also sought warrants against Netanyahu & Gallant. His statement is here:

When I explain to @bt_uk this is very hard to believe, I'm reminded they are a customer of Openreach and they've been let down too.

Asked why no one rang - first time they rang the landline (wrong one apparently) despite our mobiles being on the order. This time apparently they tried, but we have no missed calls on our mobiles.

Many @TheLawSociety members may hesitate to criticise the SRA's proposed approach publicly but would share their views with you. Conducting a quick poll could strengthen your representations to @LSB_EngandWal.

@guardian It suited the banks to do this as provided they all extended the amount they lent and continued to do so, it supported the higher prices. Higher prices mean larger mortgages, which means more interest and more profits for banks on each mortgage.

Here's an extract from a piece in the @guardian. The data on which it reports only goes back to 1999. If banks had maintained their traditional mortgage lending multiples and LTV percentages, I do not believe we would have seen this rise.

What the letter said was that:. In your letter you highlight that the £38bn figure used in the Conservative Party's publication includes costs beyond those provided by the civil service and published online by HM Treasury. The “your“ being the Labour party.

what next - will we be told off for shouting too loud? I’ve sat in this area for over 30 years and seen the noise and passion in the section killed by over-zealous stewarding.

a steward taps me on my shoulder. I asked what he wanted. He wanted me to sit down! Was he kidding, no - he had a right strop on his face when I pointed out I wouldn’t be able to see with everyone stood in front of me and to my left. I carried out standing but.

There were many who supported the actions of the government, which is evident in the result of the 1997 election when the Tory government won over 40% of the popular vote. @BBC you can do better.

is so weak. Just because a law or legal concept is old does not mean it is wrong. Freehold is just as old a concept. Laws against murder, theft etc are even older. Really a very poor piece of journalism all round.
