Having depression & anxiety + telling someone you might be moving to a more temperate mountainous region = "omg, I bet you'd feel sooooo much better there!!" 🙃🫠

The ultrasound tech for my appointment this morning at the imaging clinic had me do quite a few "now take a deep breath and hold... Okay, breathe out" cues this morning. It makes me wonder if I really needed my regular meditation session today 😌 (of course I did!)

I didn't realize how harshly my depression was hitting until the idea of doing something I loved (making music) made me feel anxious. I didn't want to do it anymore. Currently, I still don't. That's so hard to admit. I don't know when I'll come back from this.

Have you ever tried to tell someone close to you that something they joke about often, that you're actually really insecure about/have old abuse trauma attached to, makes you feel really uncomfortable, and they throw you the classic: "I am 100% joking". And you just... 😒

I drove a motor vehicle today for the first time in over 6 years without having a panic attack. So that's pretty cool.

I can't decide what feels worse. The aching in my kidney and anxiety of when/if the stone will pass, or the dizziness, nausea, headaches and congestion from taking the meds to get rid of it... Just take the whole kidney at this point, honestly.

Sitting here. Taking deep breaths. Fantasizing about quitting my job in the middle of a meeting like a movie scene. No more micromanaging disguised as concern. No more passive aggression to sit and smile through. Anyway, here's some pretty flowers that make me happy.
