Our memorial garden remembering those that have died in all World Wars. Children cut up old school jumpers to create the falling poppies. Nursery & Reception made the standing poppies to represent Bewley family members who played their part in WWI & WWII .

Nursery have loved learning about seasonal change going on lots of Autumn treasure hunts and using their treasures to make a number of crafts such as leaf crowns and hedgehogs. Nursery have also been learning lots of interesting facts about hedgehogs and even made hedgehog bread

Nursery had a lovely time exploring colour. They took part in a colour run, made colour splat pictures with Pompoms and syringes,stomped through paint along paint runs and painted their own rainbows on umbrellas. The sun also helped 😀

Today one of our 6 week old hoglets was found wandering around in the daytime. We have taken him to HoggyStockton on their request, who are now caring for him. They have named him Bewley and are helping to keep him warm and hydrated. We hope he will return when he is better.

Nursery have enjoyed their ‘Hair’ week! They have had fun sharing and turn taking in the role play hair dressers, giving paper people hair cuts, learning about scissor safety, threading beads onto hair and developing their counting skills. They even had a ‘Wacky Hair Day’ .
