Brilliant build up to the weekend. Fab Friday Zumba followed by some cool sports activities, awesome creative building with @LEGO_Group and some pottering amongst the plants as we prepare for wildflower planting next week. Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend, you've earnt it.

2024 has been brought to you by the numbers 50 (years old) and 26 (miles walked) and the letters W (Wythenshawe), I (inclusive) and N (new) We canβt wait to see what inclusive and new things we achieve together in 2025!

We thought the end of our 50th birthday year was a lovely opportunity to reflect on some of the things we have achieved in 2024, and we realised there was a lot!

Spending time outdoors, the release of feel-good hormones, and interacting with other people can all contribute to better mental health. Stress and anxiety can be soothed when you do physical activity, and exercise can also have a positive effect on confidence and self-esteem.

No words needed, so very proud of all who took part in this challenge from @saturn_visual and Better Things It was tough, it was wet, it was windy, it was so worth it. Thank you to everyone for your support. β€οΈ

Oh, what's occurring? The c word in September? π Perfect planning prevents pathetic performance. Organisation is the key. Too soon? Don't care, it's all in the planning.

Massive thanks to all who have donated to our walk from Merseyside to Manchester for @BetterThings14 with @saturn_visual The new boots are walked in and I have plasters. π There is still time to donate, every penny makes a difference. β€οΈ https://t.co/AQ5n7h6HCh...

All donations of any size very gratefully received.
So, here it is. As @BetterThings14 celebrates it's 50th anniversary I appear to be doing something very outside of my comfort zone. It's not so much the walking that is daunting, it's what will happen when I stop.
