We have been welcoming schools, colleges, and clubs to Betteshanger Park for many years. On Friday we were delighted to invite them along to help shape what more the park can do to support their students and members.

It was great to welcome local schools and clubs today to showcase how having access to the green space and staying active at Betteshanger Country Park can support physical and mental wellbeing and what more we can do to support them.

Significant consideration has been given to the over 3,000 lizard orchids at the park. There are approx 600 on the site of the proposed surf park, which will be individually moved under an approved licence from Natural England to areas that will be enhanced and managed. (2/3)
