I’m new to doll collecting and I just gently brushed my Claudine doll and this happened??. Is this normal? I didn’t use any products I just brushed it dry is that why? Any help is recommended.

For those of you who couldn’t tell THIS IS ALL A JOKE. I have like 7 G3 clawdeens and thought “what would happened if I dry brushed tf out of one” and thus big haired clawdeen was born. It’s nice to know that if this was real the community is nice enough to try and help.

@_ella_bea I’m actually bald… I was two when I was deep frying a cheeseburger and accidentally started a grease fire and lost all my hair. I didn’t suffer any burns and my burger was delicious but you commenting this was really insensitive. You never know anyone’s deep fryer horror story.

@everaskingdolls 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Was that too high? My flat iron is industrial grade so it’s only options are that and off.

@teasdollsfr I actually have Aquagenic urticaria, the allergy of water, so I don’t “wet” my dolls hair. I try to avoid water at all costs so I don’t wash my dolls either. Some may call me gross because I get all my dolls second hand but I only see it as exposing myself to helpful bacteria.

@dollthangs As a customizer we have this mindset of “this doll works for my project now Im gonna use her for it” and that being limited by the outlines set by the doll previously prevents the 100% creativity doll customizing has. But I see both POVs and how you feel as a collector is valid.
