All BUSD summer programs and offices are closed for the July 4 holiday. Summer students and staff will return to BUSD on Monday, July 7.

Big news for Berkeley. On Saturday, June 7th, the community gathered for the groundbreaking of the new Workforce Housing project. This initiative will bring 110 apartments to help recruit & retain quality educators. More Details at:

On Friday, June 6, we celebrated the graduation of the BUSD Class of 2025 at Jacket Stadium. These young people have distinguished themselves through academic excellence, civic engagement, and advocacy. Congratulations, Class of 2025!

Congratulations to our 52 Berkeley Adult School graduates! Ranging in age from late teens to their 60s, these inspiring individuals prove, as one graduate beautifully put it at commencement: "It is never too late, and you are never too old to do something that inspires you."

Congratulations to all our classified staff honored yesterday for years of service milestones ranging from 5 to 45 years. Combined, they represent 1385 years of service to the BUSD Community. Thank you for your service!
