While detained and waiting for court proceedings, Geyser was experiencing psychosis (hallucinations, talking to people who were not there). Despite the known, harmful effects of untreated psychosis on the brain, she was not diagnosed or medicated for years. And she was < 15 y/o

When police detained Weier and Geyser, Weier told them that Geyser hears voices. Police questioned Geyser for hours, while she was showing signs of a psychotic break. She talked about Slenderman at length, which is not mentioned in the confession she signed.

This follow-up on the Bloomington/Pendragon settlement involved a lot of door knocking at residences owned by this landlord. Most people I spoke with didn't want to go on record, because they were worried speaking out about conditions would get them in trouble.
