Had the pleasure this week to visit STS, the org which handles all communications to 112 in 🇷🇴. They are pioneering the implementation of NG112 in 🇪🇺 and have also successfully deployed AML & RO-Alert. Also had great talks on training, comms w/public, psychological support.

Last month, when travelling to the US, I was not able to make any voice call. This means that I could not call my travel agency to deal with cancelled flights and more importantly this means that I wouldn't be able to call 911 in case I needed help.
In the past few weeks, many Europeans and other travelers roaming in the United States were unable to make any voice call, including calling 911 in case of emergency during their stay. 1/5.
