Winver (short for “Windows Version”) - colloquially called “the About box” - was introduced in Windows 3 (1990) to report OS information. Initially reporting the version number & copyright date, over time it was expanded to report build number, available RAM & user information.

Win8 build 8175.5 has just been leaked. It was handed out to the finalists of the Windows 8 First Apps Contest.

Aw shit, here we go again! Builds 7777 and 7779 have been leaked. 7779 is the more interesting out of the two so here are some screenshots. It is the earliest build in which Redpill can be used to unlock early Metro.

Windows Server 2012 build 7965 has recently leaked, with one of the best bootscreens!
